Advanced Coatings
We are a leading supplier of low-polarization specialty-coated electrodes. We have expertise in TiN, IrOx and other advanced coatings as well as manufacturing totally porous structures. While our coating business consists mainly of electrodes, we can also coat other substrates, including stents and implantable orthopedic devices. Greatbatch Medical has extensive experience in coating distal tips, proximal rings, and active-fixation helices, as well as in producing drug-eluting electrodes for steroid and other pharmaceutical delivery. Greatbatch Medical is a leading supplier of high-surface-area, low-polarization, specialty-coated electrodes to the implantable medical device industry. Our TiN coating and other coatings improve stimulation and sensing capabilities, enabling better device performance.
